Everything You Need

Tuulikki provides guests with the comfort and flexibility they need. This is an ideal option for friends or smaller families.

4 guests

1 bedroom (1 double bed)

1 sofa-bed (living area)

1 bathroom with walk-in shower

1 private hot tub (2-person)

Spend your days in Tuulikki, a cosy timber-framed cabin enveloped by rhododendrons.

With a wood-burning stove, hot tub, a garden and terraces you'll be sure to have what you need for a relaxing stay. Head out of the garden gate and you’ll enter Ringwood Forest with a cycle trail, Moors Valley Country Park, a golf course and a lake.

A 5min drive will take you to the historic market town of Ringwood. Go east and you’ll enter the beautiful New Forest National Park or head south to visit the sandy beaches of Bournemouth.

The cabin has everything you'll need to stay comfortably: a log-burner, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV and a modern bathroom with a washing machine and tumble dryer. It is particularly suitable for nature lovers, with a hot tub, BBQ and garden access for guests to enjoy the open forest air.

There is a sauna cabin on the property with a small pool. You can use the pool free of charge. Please speak to us if you would like to book the sauna (log fired).

Sleeps 4 comfortably.

A standard double bed is in the attic bedroom.

A pull-out sofa bed is in the living area.

Note that due to the bedroom being located under an A-line roof, taller people may not be able to stand upright. However, the communal area downstairs is spacious, so movement is not restricted in day-to-day living.

You can park your car in front of The Annex (the Gleed's residence) and then enter the cabin via Tuulikki's patio area/kitchen door.

As the property is a terraced apartment/cabin between our own place and the Rose Cottage cabin, sound may travel through the walls at times, especially as it is a timber-framed building.

Clothes storage: chest of drawers and wardrobe

Nothing quite matches the charm of a rustic log cabin with a roaring fireplace in the winter. It arouses feelings of warmth, nostalgia, and peace, especially after a long day outside. Fireplaces not only serve the practical purpose of bringing warmth to your cabin, but they offer a relaxing and cheerful place to cosy up around with family and friends. It’s a place to snuggle up with a book and a cup of cocoa, a place to warm your toes after a long day.
On hotter days, stay cool with air conditioning.

We welcome well-behaved dogs for a small extra charge due to the additional time required for cleaning. We ask for dogs to have their own bedding and refrain from letting them on any furniture so we can preserve the condition of the cabin for yourselves and future guests. We recommend keeping dogs on the lead on the premises out of respect for other guests and request owners to clean up after their dogs. There is a maximum number of dogs permitted for each cabin (please ask). Dogs shall not be left unattended in the cabin unless by prior agreement with the owner.

Had a wonderful four day break at the Tuulikki lodge with our dog. Location is ideal for woodland walks and coastal visits by car. Our accommodation was very cosy and a lovely blend of quirky character and useful modern fittings. We especially loved using both the indoor and outdoor log burners for that essential staycation feel. Our hosts couldn't be anymore accommodating and always went the extra mile to help us feel welcome. We would recommend the sauna and restroom which was built with traditional Finnish values and was a great way to wind down. A must visit for anyone who appreciates the atmosphere and friendship our hosts try so hard to deliver.

"This place has such a relaxing feel from the moment you arrive, nestled amongst Rhododendron bushes and the forest on your doorstep. Deer, birds butterflies and bats were seen in just the three days we were there."

Rachel (June)

"A beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I decided to stay here for a weekend break but we wished we stayed for longer! The cabin is super clean and fully equipped. The location was fantastic - a quick drive to Bournemouth beach and the New Forest. Also there were many shops and pubs nearby. Sibylle and Mark were perfect hosts and were both hospitable and attentive. We had the best time and we will not hesitate to come back again!"

"What can we say - blown away by this beautiful hideaway in the woods - we will be back here again and again without a doubt. The location is spot on, great access to main routes in and out of area... and a walk or cycle directly into the forest. They even had bikes we could use! The place is more stocked up than our own home. From the usual pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, to amazing extras like sandwich makers, serving pans, a full height upfright freezer, herbs and spices and even tins of beans in the cupboard! It was a special occasion for us and Sibylle went the extra mile to leave us some thoughtful gifts on arrival. We cannot recommend this place and Sibylle and Mark enough but we will stop here so it’s not totally booked up the next time we want to come ;-). Looking forward to returning to benefit from the plunge pool and sauna next time."

"This is such a beautiful space with all you could need to be comfortable. We were welcomed with such beautiful Christmas touches - candles , classy Christmas decorations on the table and chocolates. We especially loved the log fire which our hosts regularly refilled us with more dried wood and fire lighters. The house is also naturally by design so warm and cosy. Being so near to local walks and attractions was a plus. Yet also having the serenity of the log cabin and the forest on our doorstep was a delight. I would highly recommend this stay."

"This place is fantastic! The cabin is a perfect escape! Lovely house with everything you could possibly need, and right in the forest, you can park the car and walk for miles..access to the Moors and the Ringwood forest is by the house. Sibylle and Mark her husband were amazing in giving us tips for exploring and anything we needed.. A very special place, really recommend it! Cant wait to get back!" - Claudia (October)

"We had the best mini break away in Sibylle's log cabin and so did our spaniel Ted. You can walk right into the woods from the cabin and it has everything you could possibly need.
