With a wood-burning stove, hot tub, a garden and terraces you'll be sure to have what you need for a relaxing stay. Head out of the garden gate and you’ll enter Ringwood Forest with a cycle trail, Moors Valley Country Park, a golf course and a lake.

A 5min drive will take you to the historic market town of Ringwood. Go east and you’ll enter the beautiful New Forest National Park or head south to visit the sandy beaches of Bournemouth.

THE SPACE

The cabin has everything you'll need to stay comfortably: a log-burner, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV and a modern bathroom with a washing machine and tumble dryer. It is particularly suitable for nature lovers, with a hot tub, BBQ and garden access for guests to enjoy the open forest air.

There is a sauna cabin on the property with a small pool. You can use the pool free of charge. Please speak to us if you would like to book the sauna (log fired).

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

Sleeps 4 comfortably.

A standard double bed is in the attic bedroom.

A pull-out sofa bed is in the living area.

Note that due to the bedroom being located under an A-line roof, taller people may not be able to stand upright. However, the communal area downstairs is spacious, so movement is not restricted in day-to-day living.

GUEST ACCESS

You can park your car in front of The Annex (the Gleed's residence) and then enter the cabin via Tuulikki's patio area/kitchen door.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

As the property is a terraced apartment/cabin between our own place and the Rose Cottage cabin, sound may travel through the walls at times, especially as it is a timber-framed building.

Samantha (May)

Had a wonderful four day break at the Tuulikki lodge with our dog. Location is ideal for woodland walks and coastal visits by car. Our accommodation was very cosy and a lovely blend of quirky character and useful modern fittings. We especially loved using both the indoor and outdoor log burners for that essential staycation feel. Our hosts couldn't be anymore accommodating and always went the extra mile to help us feel welcome. We would recommend the sauna and restroom which was built with traditional Finnish values and was a great way to wind down. A must visit for anyone who appreciates the atmosphere and friendship our hosts try so hard to deliver.

"This place has such a relaxing feel from the moment you arrive, nestled amongst Rhododendron bushes and the forest on your doorstep. Deer, birds butterflies and bats were seen in just the three days we were there."

Rachel (June)

"A beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I decided to stay here for a weekend break but we wished we stayed for longer! The cabin is super clean and fully equipped. The location was fantastic - a quick drive to Bournemouth beach and the New Forest. Also there were many shops and pubs nearby. Sibylle and Mark were perfect hosts and were both hospitable and attentive. We had the best time and we will not hesitate to come back again!"

"What can we say - blown away by this beautiful hideaway in the woods - we will be back here again and again without a doubt. The location is spot on, great access to main routes in and out of area... and a walk or cycle directly into the forest. They even had bikes we could use! The place is more stocked up than our own home. From the usual pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, to amazing extras like sandwich makers, serving pans, a full height upfright freezer, herbs and spices and even tins of beans in the cupboard! It was a special occasion for us and Sibylle went the extra mile to leave us some thoughtful gifts on arrival. We cannot recommend this place and Sibylle and Mark enough but we will stop here so it’s not totally booked up the next time we want to come ;-). Looking forward to returning to benefit from the plunge pool and sauna next time."

Emma (May)

"This is such a beautiful space with all you could need to be comfortable. We were welcomed with such beautiful Christmas touches - candles , classy Christmas decorations on the table and chocolates. We especially loved the log fire which our hosts regularly refilled us with more dried wood and fire lighters. The house is also naturally by design so warm and cosy. Being so near to local walks and attractions was a plus. Yet also having the serenity of the log cabin and the forest on our doorstep was a delight. I would highly recommend this stay."
