FIREPLACE

Nothing quite matches the charm of a rustic log cabin with a roaring fireplace in the winter. It arouses feelings of warmth, nostalgia, and peace, especially after a long day outside. Fireplaces not only serve the practical purpose of bringing warmth to your cabin, but they offer a relaxing and cheerful place to cosy up around with family and friends. It’s a place to snuggle up with a book and a cup of cocoa, a place to warm your toes after a long day.
On hotter days, stay cool with air conditioning.

FOR OUR FURRY FRIENDS

We welcome well-behaved dogs for a small extra charge due to the additional time required for cleaning (please see here). We ask for dogs to have their own bedding and for guests to refrain from letting dogs on any furniture so that we can preserve the condition of the cabin for yourselves and future guests. We recommend keeping dogs on the lead on the premises out of respect for other guests and request owners to clean up after their dogs. Dogs shall not be left unattended in the cabin unless by prior agreement with the owner.

Would you like to see what people like you have to say about their stay at Laatokka? Read on below.

"The stay was just amazing and what we needed for a short getaway. The cabin was very clean and has all the utensils, towels, bedding etc that you will need. The surroundings are stunning, with flowers popping out everywhere you look and all the tall trees with the grassed lawns. If you don't want to sit in the garden you can pop over to the pool which is secluded and surrounded by again stunning flowers and trees. Beside the pool is a traditional sauna which is perfect if you want to sweat off, have a shower and then jump in the pool. The pool as well is heated but works with the temperature outside so does not get too hot or too cold, it is just refreshing and good. On top of all this the owners have an adorable dog who played with our dog nonstop and is very friendly. I think our dog enjoyed the holiday more then us. However whether you have a pet or not this place will not disappoint. I don't usually leave reviews, however I want to share and let everyone know what an amazing stay this was and how happy we are to have found it. We will certainly be back. Believe me when I say the hosts are superhosts!!"
