Our Piilopirtti cabin provides guests with the comfort and flexibility they need. This is an ideal option for couples.

Spend your days in a traditional Finnish "hidden cabin" with a grass roof. Step outside and be enveloped by rhododendrons and enjoy sitting in the hot tub or in front of the fire pit or the BBQ amongst trees and nature. The main room is for sleeping and living with a super-king size bed, table, TV, 2 easy chairs. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. A newly built terrace provides a covered area and an outdoor sofa and chairs to relax. Head out of the garden gate and you’ll enter Ringwood Forest where you will find a cycle trail, Moors Valley Country Park, a golf course and a lake.

THE SPACE

The cabin has everything you'll need to stay comfortably. It is particularly suitable for nature lovers, with a romantic 2-person hot tub, a fireplace, BBQ and garden access for you to enjoy the open forest air. Enjoy the daffodils on the roof in March, the bluebells in April and wildflowers in the summer.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

There is a sauna cabin on the property with a small pool (in the Finnish style, not heated). You can use the pool free of charge. Please speak to us if you would like to book the sauna (log fired).

"What a magical setting, all the rhododendrons were in bloom & the weather was kind. Nothing is too much trouble for owners Sibylle & Mark, we enjoyed hearing about the history of the place, a real labour of love. Pub recommendations spot on too. Huge comfy bed! We also loved the fire pit each evening. We will be back."

"A great Finnish style lodge in a good location among the trees. Was equipped with everything we needed and enabled us to recharge the batteries over a couple of days. Sitting outside for breakfast and dinner and with facilities for a barbecue it is an excellent find. Sibylle and Mark are great hosts and we hope to return in the future. Great location for walking in the New Forest. The pool is a bonus!"

"We have just returned from 3 nights in the Piilopirtti cabin. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely hosts Mark, Sibylle (and Lexie). They were very friendly and helpful. The cabin is in a great location for going to do activities. Moors valley which has a Go Ape, segway tours and mountain bike trails, is only a 30 minute walk (Or a 2 minute drive). The sauna on site is very relaxing and was very much needed after a day of mountain biking. We spent each evening sat relaxing infront of the firepit enjoying the local wildlife and picturesque setting of the cabin. Will definitely be staying again in the future."

"We had an amazing time in the cabin. The surrounding made you feel like a fairy in a forest. The owners were so lovely and approachable for any questions you may have. The cabin is located right next to the forest making it perfect for a nice little walk any time of the day. The cabin is complete with essentials, there was even a BBQ grill and fire pit for cold nights. Would definitely recommend and come back here soon."

"Piilopirtti is a great little hideaway cottage with easy access to nice forest paths. The cottage was very clean and warm, and also well equipped with a barbecue and fire pit for relaxing summer evenings. They also have a fantastic Finnish sauna available, which alone is worth a visit! Sibylle and Mark are very nice hosts, we got some great tips for longer walks in the nearby New Forest. Thoroughly recommend this place!"
