It’s a place to snuggle up with a book and a cup of cocoa, a place to warm your toes after a long day.
On hotter days, stay cool with air conditioning.

"We had the best weekend. Communication was amazing from start to finish and the location is absolutely idyllic. We will definitely return later in the year. Perfect break and time to relax in nature."

"The stay was just amazing and what we needed for a short getaway. The cabin was very clean and has all the utensils, towels, bedding etc that you will need. The surroundings are stunning, with flowers popping out everywhere you look and all the tall trees with the grassed lawns. If you don't want to sit in the garden you can pop over to the pool which is secluded and surrounded by again stunning flowers and trees. Beside the pool is a traditional sauna which is perfect if you want to sweat off, have a shower and then jump in the pool. The pool as well is heated but works with the temperature outside so does not get too hot or too cold, it is just refreshing and good. On top of all this the owners have an adorable dog who played with our dog nonstop and is very friendly. I think our dog enjoyed the holiday more then us. However whether you have a pet or not this place will not disappoint. I don't usually leave reviews, however I want to share and let everyone know what an amazing stay this was and how happy we are to have found it. We will certainly be back. Believe me when I say the hosts are superhosts!!"

Anca (June)

We’ve just returned for a fantastic two nights at Rose Cottage (four adults and four children). The cottage is well equipped and comfortable (think ski cabin - functional / basic but comfortable). The location is great. Yes it is next to the road and there is a small amount of noise, but this didn’t distract from our enjoyment. The cottages are set in a lovely wooded area with rhododendrons and the cottages back onto the lovely Ringwood Forest. Walk through the forest and you’re in Moor Valley Country Park which is fantastic for children. We hired the sauna and pool for two hours which everyone enjoyed and then sat outside around the fire pit watching the sun set through the trees. We loved it.

This rental was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. The location was probably the greatest plus for this booking. Direct access to the forest was perfect for me. The cottage was well equipped and had everything that we needed. The sauna was excellent and we used it multiple nights!
